Carolina Tactical Outfitters, LLC has been conducting business since 2008, when developed as a division of Country Road Outfitters. Both founded by Aaron Thurston, Carolina Tactical Outfitters, LLC took on a life of its own in 2010 and a few years later Country Road Outfitters was closed. Since that time, Carolina Tactical Outfitters, LLC has continued to grow and prosper as a home-based business. Aaron and Kara Thurston previously operated a retail store in Salisbury, however presently work from The Tac Shack on private property in Rowan County.
Carolina Tactical Outftters, LLC (CTO) currently conducts retail sales of tactical gear, body armor, firearms accessories, ammunition, medical supplies, survival supplies, and much more. We have carved our nitch in the region, which has gained us a strong following.
CTO begain to offer training courses in 2013, with refinement in 2014 and addition of new instructors. Currently, CTO offers a wide range of training courses which include NC Concealed Carry, handgun courses, long-gun courses, and our very popular medical courses. The medical courses and concealed carry courses require a classroom. We have also held classes at local churches and other publicly rented meeting spaces in the area. Also, we are working with local churches on security and safety and have conducted free seminars in North and South Carolina.
